Nyanza Forum is a platform of professionals, businesses entities and civil society organisations from the Lake region to advocate for the socio-economic interests of the people of Nyanza.

The platform was founded to rally the people and Nyanza based organisations to address the issues that impede the social and economic progress of the people of Nyanza.

OBJECTIVES

1. Advocate for policies and good governance in Luo Nyanza.

2. Spearhead a robust civic education and peace building activities in the region.

2. Promote greater collaboration between Nyanza counties and the National Government.

3. Promote peaceful coexistence amongst the diverse communities living and doing business in Nyanza.

4. Position Nyanza region as an ideal destination for local and foreign investors.

5. To promote political tolerance and diversity and ensure that the region is not excluded by the national government with regards to appointments and development projects that are not devolved.

6. Defend the political dignity of the people of Nyanza and ensure that the region is not unfairly targeted for profiling as a result of their political association.

7. The platform will spearhead and promote the establishment of targeted business entities to invest in sectors where the region has comparative advantages such as Fishing, Sugarcane, and peanut farming and invite the public to secure shares in the same.
