Pete G. Ondeng is the Africa Regional Director for Millennium Promise Alliance, Inc., a New York based, international development organization.  He is a finance and business development specialist with twenty five years of experience in over 15 countries in Africa, Europe and the United States.  He is the author of two successful books: How to Start Your Own Small Business (1989) and Africa’s Moment (2004).

I bring to Nyanza Economic Forum many years experience in Agricultural Sciences, Research, Project Planning and Management and including Budgeting and Financial Management.  I hold a PHD in Production Ecology and Natural Resource Management.

George Ooko is Chief Executive of Coffee Development Fund in Kenya  since 2007. The purpose of the fund is to provide sustainable, affordable credit to Coffee Farmers with a focus on small scale holders. He previously worked  as Director, Retail Commercial banking at Barclays Bank, East Africa. .Mr Ooko holds an MBA from University of Nairobi.

He is also the Country Chair for Rotarian Action group for Population and Development, A service club and a non executive Director of Zimele Asset management Co. in Kenya
